Dr. Anton Dias Perera, MD, F.A.C.S.

Dr. Dias Perera is board certified in vascular surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He offers a full spectrum of treatment options, using both endovascular and open surgical technique, for management of vascular disease. He performs open and endovascular stent-graft repair of aortic aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy and carotid angioplasty and stenting (CAS), and open and endovascular revascularization procedures for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). In addition, he performs repair of complex abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms using Hybrid (combined open and endovascular) techniques.

Dr. Prateek K Gupta, MD, F.A.C.S.

Dr. Prateek K Gupta completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at University of Wisconsin where he received extensive training in both endovascular and open vascular surgery. He practices patient-centered care, and his treatment planning begins with an integrated approach between patients and all medical staff involved. He has also been very actively involved in research with more than 50 peer reviewed publications, has written several book chapters and has work which is part of American Heart Association guidelines. He also teaches physicians around the country on endovascular techniques for limb preservation.

He specializes in:

  • His special area of expertise is limb preservation, and he sees a lot of patients for second opinion who have been told that amputation is the only option. He performs complex revascularization, both endovascular using ‘roto-rooter, stents, balloons and pedal access’ and open bypasses resulting in saving limbs and lives.
  • Aortic aneurysm stent and open repair, especially percutaneous (<1cm incision) stent repair of aneurysms.
  • Carotid stents and endarterectomies for patients with carotid disease
  • Venous ablation for varicose veins and ulcers
  • AV fistula creation and maintenance
  • IVC filter placement and pulmonary thrombectomy for blood clots.

In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family, watch movies and soccer, learn golf and piano, and travel.

Dr. Jacqueline Majors, MD

Dr. Jacqueline Majors is a Memphis native who completed her Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Her General Surgery training was completed at the University of Tennessee here in Memphis as well. She has ample training in endovascular and open surgical technique and the ability to fully manage the complex vascular patient. She offers full treatment options in aortic, carotid, peripheral arterial disease, limb preservation, venous disease, hemodialysis access, as well as spinal exposure. Dr. Majors played soccer for the University of Memphis and was a competitive soccer coach prior to attending medical school. She was nominated to the Leadership Committee for the Society of Vascular Surgery and will continue to promote leadership and diversity in the professional society.

In her spare time she enjoys cheering on her 3 children at their sporting activities, stand up paddle boarding, hiking with her family, traveling with her husband, and playing with her Great Dane puppy Pepper.



Dr. Timothy Weatherall, MD

Dr. Timothy Weatherall completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Vascular Surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He is extensively trained in both open and endovascular surgical techniques. Dr. Weatherall is proficient in the treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases, as well as the management of vascular access for other disease processes. Dr. Weatherall lives in Memphis with his family.





Shelby Rogers, DNP, FNP-C

Shelby Rogers is a board certified nurse practitioner. She graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with her doctorate in nursing practice with a specialty in family medicine.  She is highly trained to manage and treat all vascular disease. Shelby joined the Vascular Institute in the fall of 2018. She obtained her bachelors of nursing from Southern Mississippi in 2012. Shelby spent her nursing career at Baptist Memphis in both ICU Stepdown and cardiovascular intensive care departments. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society for Vascular Surgery. She is dedicated to provide excellent care to all of her patients.





Megan Stewart, MSN, FNP-C

Megan Stewart is a board certified nurse practitioner. She graduated with her masters degree from University of Central Arkansas in 2018 as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She began her nursing career as an LPN in 2012. She received her RN degree in 2014 and her bachelors of nursing degree in 2016. Achieving a new educational degree every two years, she continuously strives to expand her knowledge and provide the best care to her patients. She chose to specialize her career in surgery and gained experience in general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.

Megan is married and has a sweet daughter. She enjoys being with her family, including her golden retriever, Maggie. Even though Megan loves to travel, she maintains her southern roots by having a deep love for hunting and fishing here at home.
